You may not be able to celebrate Cinco de Mayo in the traditional way, but you can celebrate in other ways around Sugar Land.
Want to celebrate Cinco de Mayo right in Sugar Land? There’s plenty to do. Whether you’re on a lunch break from work or took the day off to celebrate, there’s something for everyone.
- Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with the The Central Fort Bend Chamber Alliance’s Hispanic Business Division (HBD). They’ll be at Legacy Ford between 5:30 PM and 7:30 PM for a free event open to the public. You just might win one of the door prizes or the raffle, and you’ll get to enjoy food and beverages compliments of Silver Eagle Distributors.
- Grab your gift for mom, your friends with children, or your significant other at First Colony Mall. Some stores are offering a special: Spend $75, get a $10 gift card.
- Have to celebrate on your lunch break? Head to Pappasito’s Cantina for a delicious Tex-Mex meal. You can celebrate with sizzling fajitas…or maybe even a delicious margarita! Take a group from work or head out for lunch with your mom.
